Nesteled above a once busteling apartment building is The loft. It was once four stories tall but remodeling converted the thrid and fourth stories into one massive space. The building is red brick and the windows have old twisted rod iron balconies, tipical of New Orleans. It's a very large space with two bathrooms, a kitchen and the adjoining apartments have been modified into bedrooms. Three on the first floor, three on the top floor. There is a rod iron spiral staircase in the center of the first first floor leading to the top floor which is a balcony where the bedrooms are. The main room of the loft was mainly decorated by the girls. Long flat red curtains line each of the windows. Kyle furnished the entertainment system which is comprised of a big screne television, dolby suround sound and an equaly impressive music system. Two once pretty sofas are setteled around the entertinment system. Pizza boxes and soda cans line the coffee table. The kitchen is relitivly clean since no one really cooks. It's made up of a collection of pots, pans and other things the friends brought with them. Scattered about the loft in varous places are video and sound recording devices. All to try and catch paranorml activity. These devices are wired to a desk in the far corner under the staircase. Lined with monitors, papers and videotapes is Max's sacred space. Her workstation. Here she reviews the tapes from the night before in hopes of catching a glimpse of what they may be dealing with.

Kyle and Charles occupie the bedrooms on the first level. Shelly's room was down here a well but has since remained empty after her family divied up her belongings. A few things remain in there however. Chinchilla, Max and Olivia live on the top floor.

Max started down the staircase. "The walls in my room are bleeding again." she said. A coffee cup flew of it's own accord and whizzed by her head. She caught it before it shattered against the railing of teh staircase. It was most comon in the mornings for something strange like that to happen first thing. As if the apparitions living with them where reminding them of their presence.

Olivia was already downstairs in the living room, doing some aerobics. She didn't bother to stop her exercise for Max. Olivia had worked too hard on getting the old TV to finally work. "Isn't it always bleeding?"

Charles walked out of his room and yawned, stretching his arms out wide. He looked at Olivia and then at Max. He blushed when he saw her. "It just took me an hour to make my bed. As soon as I turned around the sheets went to hell again."

Olivia stopped her exercising. She only preferred to do it when no one was up. After turning off the TV, it went on again. Rolling her eyes, she tried to turn it off again.

Chinchilla came out from her room, holding a large book and poring over it. Her hair was still relatively messy, but it was obvious that she hadn't slept the night before. "Guys, I think we might have a boggart." She'd shoved her fist into the book to keep it on the right page and was struggling to keep her glasses on her nose.

"Damn TV..." Olivia snarled at the TV that just wouldn't shut off for her. She kicked at it firmly, "No one cares that you have a booger."

"I believe she said boggart. A shapeshifting spirit which takes on the forms of your worst fears." Charles explained, looking over at Chinchilla for reassurance he had gottent he Harry Potter reference correct. He wasn't much into the paranormal and that was the only time he had heard of a boggart before anyway

"Boggarts are fiction." Max said going to her work station and rewinding the tapes from the previous night. She checked her e-mail as they rewound. "J.K. Rolling didn't use any hitoricaly or paranormaly accurate material in researching her books. Besides what we have is severe polterguiest activity. More than one I'd say by the level of activity... Haven't we already had this conversation by the way?" She clicked her mouse a few times "FINALY!" She said "You guys remember that guy in the library at school? The one who always picked his nose when he thought no one was looking? I asked him to send me the news murder reports from the area from the last 50 years. The only thing he found was..." She read the article quickly, murmering to herself as she did "Aurthor J. Springfield also known as The Lady Killer. He murdered twenty seven women, two men and a fourteen year old boy in the greater new Orleans area. In... 1973 he was finaly apprehended at 1313 Hallow... Road... Guys.. He owned our building. Says here he was shot while trying to escape the fourth floor window on the east corner of the building... Well I know why my walls bleed at night now." she was basicaly talking to herself. Something she usualy done when she found something interesting to tell them.

Chinchilla rolled her eyes at both of them. "No, I meant the spirits of mischeif. They're a Scottish myth, and it's J. K. Rowling, Max." She paused and listened to the new information, at first skeptical as to how exactly that kid could've scrounged up that much information about this. "Well, I guess I don't have to go looking for a secret diary hidden between the rafters, or find wedding rings under my bed, or any other variety of clues." She snapped the book shut and threw it on the table, going off to get something to eat from the fridge. "At least now we know---exactly---who we're---" She paused, gagging at the sight of a disembodied arm in the fridge, and closed it quickly-- "dealing with."

Olivia shrugged, "Murderer, hmm? Never said that in the brochure." She gave up on the TV and unplugged it.

"Ok ok, so he was a murderer and killed in your room. How's that explain my bed constantly becoming unmade???" Charles asked her curiously. It was driving him absolutely insane

"He slept with them?" Olivia joked, taking her sweat bands off.

There was a sound of a door being banged open as Kyle walked threw backwards into the main hall. His hair was a total mess and for some reason he was looking very happy. "Ok, the one in my room is definatley a girl..."

"That's so typical," Chinchilla rolled her eyes and sat down on the couch, grabbing an old piece of pizza. "The house gets haunted by the victims of a terrifying murderer, and Kyle gets phantasmic action."

Olivia laughed at Kyle's remark. She walked over to him, "Why do you say this?" she egged him on.

Charles stared at Olivia. "Oh my gawd....that is so disgusting....Why my bed???"

"Not the good reason" Kyle said, moving over to a floating coffee pot and pouring a cup "There's a loda of gigling when I change"

"I've got one too." Max said typing and reading on a different monitor. "But I figured I'd spare you the sexual details." She typed a bit more "OK your bed probably does that because he may have sexually assaulted a girl in your room. Maybe the covers are ripped off because he drug her from a bed in there. Toss me a slice would you?" She asked Olivia "Your hips don't need it."

Olivia glared at Max and held out the slice. The moment that she was about to grab it, she dropped it. The toast fell butter side down on the floor, "Oops! Silly me..." She perked back up and whispered to Kyle, "You sure it wasn't me giggling at you undressing?"

Chinchilla smacked her face and groaned. "So Max, tell me--why exactly do you want these ghosts gone?" She glanced at Kyle. "Gimme a cup of coffee, will you?"

Kyle started to pour a second cup, the coffee falling upwards. Sighing he held the cup upside down and poured one anyway. "I know it wasn't you cause you wouldn't giggle" he said to Olivia, poking her gently.

Olivia smirked, moving away from him after he poked her. "So...should we hang garlic on the doors or something?" she asked the group.

"That's just disgusting..." Charles replied to Max's comments. "Now I need to wash."

"Hahaa, sucks fer you," Chilla remarked, taking the upside down coffee from Kyle and then swearing loudly as it all fell into her lap. "Fuck! Ow! Goddamn!"

Ignoring what was going on ehind her Max scooped the pizza off the floor and took a bite. "Ok." She said chewing. "Must I remind you about finding our roomate hung from the celing dead?" She took another bite "If this level of paranormal activity continues then we could all be up the river Stix without a paddel."

Kyle clicked his jaw inconspicuously "But not all these ghosts are bad... I mean my one's quite cute untill..." He looked at the clock, whose hands were always stuck in some strange smile postion (but they could still tell time by it) and swore. He darted behind his room door and grabbed his board. He came back out the room and closed the door. It slammed open by itself, smashing against the wall behind. There was a loud scream that faded quickly. "Better than an alarm clock..." Kyla said, staring blankly at the door.

Chilla shuddered at the scream before getting up and going back to her room to get changed. "Goddamn, I liked these jammies, too!" She continued cursing in Russian and shut the door behind her.

Max finished her pixxa and fished for another slice in a box left by her station. Mouth full she shouted "OH MY GOD!" And rewownd the tape. The feed showed on her computer monitor "That's him!" She shouted and pointed to teh figure paused on teh screne. One another computer she brought up teh image of the killer. On her monitor from the night before there was a hazy image of a man streaming across teh video quickly "Look look look look!"

"WHO WHAT WHERE?!" Chilla dashed out of her room again, still pulling her jeans on half-way. In truth, it was more of a stumbling hobble out, not quite aware of what she was doing. "That's him? Who's him? What?"

Olivia darted over as well, "What?! Move it! Lemme see!" She pushed Max to the side, almost knocking her completely out of her chair to see.

Max slammed her pizza into Olivia's back as she pushed her. It hung there for a moment "I'll slow it down... See there." She stopped the image

Olivia could feel the sauce soak through her shirt. Her eyes widened, this was her favorite work out shirt! "Damn it!" she backed away from the computer, not caring about the video anymore. The pizza finally fell with a 'plop' onto the floor. "If anyone needs me....I'll be in the shower..." she growled.

"Drama queen." Max said to herself "I hope the shower bleeds on her again." She rewound the tape and watched it again "So what do you think Chilla? Is it him or is it too fuzzy to tell?"

Kyle looked at the video from the back "Just looks like a blurry haze..." he said. He squinted at the picture "Though... you can sort of see a shape... What do you think Olivia?" he asked, turning to a thin figure next to him. He gawked for a second then freaked and smacked the appartition on the head with his skateboard. He wasn't sure what it had been but it dissapeared the moment the wood made contact with skull.

"WOAH! Watch where you're swinging that thing!" Chilla exclaimed, backing away from Kyle. She buttoned her pants and approached the screen, staring at it intently. "Ah, fuzzy, nondescript picture. Pride of urban legends everywhere." Her glasses started to slip down her nose, and she pushed them back up again. "It might be. It might be anything. I only saw him once, and that was very brief, and I was freaking out, so it could be anything."

Kyle shook his skateboard threateningly at a wall "It's not my fault... that thing surprised me..." He turned back to the video's "Do we really need to... you know, FILM the ghosts. I mean, they're floating around this place all the time."

"Because we might need to bring in someone from the outside, and we need some kind of tangible proof," Chilla explained tiredly, "Which is kind of ironic since it's an intangible problem."

The Bathroom
Olivia took off her clothes and tossed them in a corner of the room. She leaned into the shower and turned the water on and let it heat up. The house was old and hot water took a bit to reach the shower. Olivia leaned up against the sink and looked at the opposing wall as she waited. She started to feel this strange aura behind her like hands around her neck. Her head whipped around only to see herself staring at her reflection on the mirror.

Charles looked at the two computer screens. He scratched his chin thoughtfully. "You know if I take my glasses off, the photo of him does resemeble the video footage, with my glasses on of course. But then again, without my glasses Rosie O'Donnell could look like Heidi Klum..."

The Bathroom
After a sigh, Olivia turned back to face the floor as she waited for the shower water to heat. Their suddenly was a loud glass shattering sound. The mirror broke out forward and several shards flew into her naked back. With a scream, she grabbed the shower curtain and pulled it down with her into the tub.

Kyle stood still for a moment, screams were normal in this house but something about that one... He jumped up and raced to the bathroom with a cry of "OLIVIA!"

Chilla's head whipped around at the sound of Olivia's scream, and the screech of the curtain rings against the shower rod. She ran after Kyle, throwing open the bathroom door. "Olivia! Are you alright?"

Kyle burst into the bathroom after Chilla opened the door, retreating as broken glass crunched under his feet. he pushed some of the glass away with his foot to try and clear a path. "I-I'm here" he said, reaching out and touching her shoulder. He brought in a gasp of air as cuts on his feet got hit by coldness.

Olivia was crying on her knees in the tub. She was trembling heavily as the water hit her body She was nude, but covered her areas with the shower curtain. "Do I look alright!?!" Her teeth were grit tightly together as she grunted in pain. The cuts weren't too deep, but there was a lot of them and they were spread throughout her back. Olivia brought her shaking hand upwards to turn off the hot water. She tried not to arc her back at all because it just hurt more. With a shaking motion, she turned the faucet off. By the time she resumed to her almost fetal position, blood started to rise from the drain of both the tub and sink.

Kyle glared at the blood, muttering darkly. "C-comon" he said, still stuttering out of the pain in his feet "we've got to get you out of here." He wrapped an arm round hers and tried to haul her up, nearly crying out in pain as his feet took the extra strain.

Olivia clung tightly to the shower curtain as she was hauled upwards out of the tub that was now overflowing with blood. There was also blood seeping out of her cuts on her back.

Max had made it to the bathroom last and still her her pizza in her hand. "NOw ask me again why we need to get rid of these things." She stepped back to let Kyle take Olivia from the bathroom "It's things like this that killed Shelly."

Charles looked at Olivia worriedly. The others had her right now, but what if the ghosts didn't let anyone hear her scream? These things had to be out, now. "Max, what do we have to do to get rid of them?"

"depends." Max said "WE could go the usual rout and get an exorcits. Which takes months for the Catholic Church to approve. n that time one of us could die. And if we can hold out till he gets here then we can;t be sure that the exorcizm can expell all the ghosts. We could have a seance with a trained medeium but finding a trained medeium would take us months. Every hack with a turban thinks they can speak with teh dead. Then we run teh risk of opening a gateway allowing more ghosts to come in and fucking us over completely. We could try identifying the victims and using a psychic he/she can help them to teh next phaze of their death. Which would rid us of our problem but the man killed 30 people. Only 23 where identified. We'd have to figure out who the other 7 are and that in it's self would take months, even years."

"But what if that's what they want? For someone to try to figure out who they are. The other 23 were identified. Maybe it's only the 7 that are doing this to us. Because they want to be known?" Charles wagered. It was a a hell of a gamble, but one could never be too sure with anything even slightly paranormal.

"That's teh best bet." Max said "But I think we have more thn 7. To be safe we should do all 30 and teh killer. I think it's hs spirit that's keeping them here but expelling him we can';t be sure the rest will go with him."

"I know I wouldn't want to go with my killer. But him and the other 23 are already known. So maybe first we should focus ont he other 7. Once we know who they are, maybe it would make things easier." Charles deduced.
"Lest we forget that the names of all the known victims where not released." Max said "Their families where notified but not released to teh public. We've got a job and a half on our hands."

"So we cross reference the time of his own death with obituaries in the histories of the newspapers. It's a simple point and click thing really. I doubt I'd have to walk you through it, Max. You're really great at all this stuff..." Charles said, beginning to ramble as usual
"You guys will be heloping." Max said "I hope you know that."

Charles smiled. "Naturally." He told her, "I will help you in any way that I can, Max."

"Then get me more pizza. I need fuel." Max looked at olivia as they where moving her "Want me to call someone to get your shift replaced?"

Charles nodded and looked around for the floating pizza. As it passed, he grabbed the box and ripped a slice out of it. "Would you like a plate, Max?"

Kyle walked himself and Olivia over to some chairs that thankfully weren't hovering. He gently helped Olivia down into one and sat down himself, checking his feet. He winced and swore as he pulled a piece of glass out of his foot that had gotten stuck there. He threw it into the bin that immediatley belched. "O-Ok" he admitted "We've got to get these people passed on..." He got up slowly, yelping and stumbling as he did "I'm going to get some ice..." he mumbled, walking down the stairs.

Olivia hobbled into the chair, "Yes...thanks Max." she replied. She was still wrapped in the shower curtain and shivering, with her back exposed to the air. "This isn't worth it...." she cried more.

Kyle walked down the stairs slowly, whimpering with each step. It was lucky for him that he didn't have any work to do for a week or so. He opened the freezer door and bent down to peer inside. He turned a funny colour, spun round on his less injured foot, threw the freezer door closed and threw up into the bin. "G-G-Girl" he mumbled, wiping away some excess vomit from the corner of his mouth "In the freezer... skinless... no arm... looked at me."

Olivia paid no attention, she couldn't focas clearly. "Does someone mind.....GETTING THE GLASS OUT OF MY BACK!?!"

Kyle shuddered and opened the freezer again. He almost threw up again but managed to control himself. He reached forward slowly and grabbed a bag of ice that was lying at the girl's feet in a flash. He shut the door again and tried to sprint up the stairs. He shuddered and froze after six steps. "T-take it slowly.." he told himself as he walked back up the stairs.

"We should get you to a hospital, 'Liv," Chilla said. Looking at Olivia's back made her a little woozy, so she stared at her face instead. "I don't know how to handle cuts this deep." She glanced up at Kyle. "Her arm is in the fridge, I think," she called casually. "I'm gonna call an ambulance, okay?"

"Is it really that bad?" Olivia asked, shivering a bit from the cold.

"It's not too bad, you'll live through it," Chilla said. "I just think it'd be best if looked at by someone who knows what they're doing." She picked up the landline phone, trying to dial, but was greeted with mad laughter over desperate screaming from the receiver. She slammed it back down, unnerved, and pulled out her cell phone, which fizzed with white noise. "God damnit!" She said, shaky. "I'm going outside, you guys. There'll be better reception there." She strode briskly to the front door and put her hand on the doorknob, but the lock was jammed. She shook the door violently, then started kicking it desperately. "Motherfucker! LET ME OUT!" She screamed.

Kyle stared at the door, still standing at the top of the stairs. "We... we cant leave?" he asked, looking round. He shuffled over to Olivia unnerved and looked at her back. "It's not too bad" he said, his face still blank from shock. He seemed to be operating on autopilot for the moment. He gently reached out and touched a slither of glas in her back "This may hurt... do you want something to bite down on.. or some asparin?"

"Just do it...it hurts so much to move." Olivia bit down on her shower curtain that clothed her.

kyle shifted his weight around, his feet were killing him. He gripped the glass and slowly slid it out of Olivia's back, when it finally came free he placed the ice pack aginst it.

Olivia grunted loudly on the curtain as the glass left her flesh. Since she was already nude and wet, the ice pack was so cold on her that it almost felt like a knife.

"Wait Kyle." Max said as she searched around her work station. "You'll make it worse and she dosen't want any scars." She pulled out a large medical kit. "I was saving this for the impending zombie outbreak but it can wait for now." She wheeled a standing lamp over to the couch where Olivia was seated and pushed her desk chair next to it. She opened the kit and removed gause, tweezers and a tube of ointment. "Hold still Liv." Max never called Olivia Liv, they weren't close enough to bother with nick names or pet names. She Brought the tweezers to her back and slowely began removing fine pieces of glass. She placed them on the lid of an empty pizza box. "Someone check the windows. We should know how deep in shit we really are... You know this looks worse than it is..."

Olivia's cuts seem to clot themselves and the bleeding seemed to stop, "That feels so much better..."

Max dropped the last piece of glass onto the box and leaned teh lamp over to check if any more was glistening in teh light. "OK now this is gonna hurt." She took a medicated towlet from the kit and in a ling slow motion from Olivia's shoyulder to her back she wiped away the blood. Finished she got another towlet for the next stroke.
Olivia grunted loudly into the shower curtain and her eyes watered. "Damnit! Damnit! Damnit!!

"Sorry. sorry." Max said repeating the step this time much quicker. "One more time." She said getting another wipe and finished clearing teh blood. "There, dosen't look bad at all. You only have about ... Ooooo that's not good.... Guys..." She rolled her chair back for the others to see Olivia's back. In crude jagged letters the words "GET OUT" where sliced into Olivia's back.

Kyle stared at her back, still looking numb. He mumbled under his breath, picked up his board and brought it full force into the nearest window. The window bounced like a rubber sheet and Kyle's board bounced back like a slingshot.

Charles stared over Max's shoulder at the cuts. "Ummmm.....now what do we do?" He ducked as Kyle's skateboard came flying back through the air

"What? What is it?!" Olivia asked before turning around to look at her cuts. "Oh my God!" she panicked and jumped up.  Olivia went to a corner so the boys couldn't see and got dressed. She had brought her clothes with her and had been huddling them on her lap the whole time. She grit her teeth from the sores on her back as she started to move around more. "Why me?!"

"It could have been any of us." Charles tried to offer some assurance on the matter. "You just happened to get int he shower first today."

"And quite the one it was..." Olivia growled, washing her hands and feet in the sink from the blood that came out of the tub drain.

Chilla had the chance to see the message on Olivia's back. Angered, she yelled, "Well, can't exactly do that when you've LOCKED US IN, NOW, CAN WE?!" She began muttering and swearing in Russian, her accent getting thicker and thicker as she grew more and more distressed. She flinched and cowered, startled, at Kyle's board reflecting off the window. "Merde!" She swore in French. "Ya va shalynim, je ne stay another minute in this damn maison!" Her languages were starting to run together in a mixture only she could understand coherently.

"English please Chilla." Max said packing the kit back up. "Not everyone can understand your bilingual gibberish."

"Nani? Ya pogovaryetyo en perfect anglais," Chilla shot back defensively, pacing. "Que a mi going vais?" She asked, looking into her room cautiously. "They'll ubiystvo nous if mi ne congons." She wrinkled her nose in distaste, shuddering. The twin girls were still sitting on her bed, blood pouring from their eyes and necks.
"Chilla please!" MAx said sereiously "Stop spazing out!"

Kyle went over and picked up his board, holding it like it was a comfort toy. He seemed to gain some of his mind back "We cant leave, but the killer wants us too. I think the victims are keeping us in here. We have to exercise the victims to get out..."

"Wow scater boy is smarter than he looks." Max said "Ok if we're gonna do this right we need to lay down the ground rules. IN horror movies the first ones to die are the ones drinking, doing drugs or having sex. So no one drink anything other than water, you touch my stash and I'll kill you and we just have to keep from fucking echother. That should give us a few hours to come up with gameplan. I think I can download an exorsizm online..."

"I dont drink except for parties, that stuff thins out your blood and I seem to end up bleeding alot." kyle mumbled, standing upright and breathing deeply "What do you need for an excocism anyway?"

"Oh. Yeah. Just pull one up on the internet. Why didn't we think of this apres," Chilla said sarcastically, calmed down a little, but her languages still leaking. "Well, if anyone could, it'd be Max the resident goth occultist."

"We still need to find the names of the seven who where not accounted for." Max said "and we can't do that trapped in here. Unless someone where to become clairvoiant suddenly and I don't see that happening any time sooo... Wait a sec... why didn't I think of it earlier." Max ran like a lizard drinking up the stairs to her room. After a few minutes of loud banging and rifling she emerged with a Ouija Board. "DUH! If we can talk to the ghosts ourselves then maybe they can tell us thair names!"

"OOHHHH NO!" Kyle said defiantly "Not that thing, I'll go down and ask the girl in the fridge myself but Im not using one of those thingies."

"The alternative is writing the answers on US," Chilla pointed out. "Though I'm...NONE..too pleased about using it either. <Stupid hell-board,>" She added in Russian.

"Comeon, tonight is halloween and a full moon." Max said jogging down teh stairs "Halloween is a very spiritual day. They've already proven how strong they are and it's only noon. If we don't hurry they'll probably have enough power to kill us by sunset. If we use teh spirit board we might let more in that's true but with 31 ghosts running around in here are we really gonna notice a few old ladies who get pass us? I for one am not looking forward to getting skull fucked by a hord of horney ghosts." She dropped the spirit board down on teh kitchen counter.

kyle stared at Max "So what? We get rid of some of the older and more powerful ones first?" He sighed and elbowed backwards. Flesh met bone and the skeleton that was always standing behind him vanished "Can we get rid of that one first?"

"I'm with Kyle ont his one. Nothing good ever comes out of the Ouija board...." Charles said quietly. "I know a guy who got into it and he would swear he was talking to his dead uncle but then when he got deep enough into it that he could see his uncle, it wasn't his uncle at all." He swallowed hard, that story had given him chills back when he heard it.
Max Put her hands on her hips "Anyone eles have any better ideas?" She looked aroung the group for advice. "We're trapped in here, the phones don't, I haven't even checked the internet yet. How do you suggest we learn the names of the 7 unidentified victms?"

"Didn't you say that there were thirty one in here? Cant we get rid of the ones we know for now?" Kyle said, staring at the board.

"Think of teh ones we've seen. The ones who would be most pissed." Max said "The ones who need to make themselves known. i think those are the ones causing us the most trouble. They are trying to tell us something.'

Kyle sighed "Fine, we get rid of the ones that are haunting us... most of them since you seem to be intent on getting molested spectrally..."

Charles glared at Kyle. "Oh like you don't enjoy those ghost girls in your room?? It isn't nice to insult a lady."

"One girl, and she doesn't do anything but giggle." Kyle said, sighing "You got anyone in your room?"

"No one who wants to show themselves to me. But they continually mess up my bed after I make it." Charles said, his eye twitching slightly. "It really bothers the hell out of me. I just make it and I turn around and they go and mess it all up! Ugh! It's just not right."

"Be grateful that's all they do," Chilla said. "There are two twin girls who sit on my bed and they look at me and bleed. Not to mention the little fuck what keeps throwing around all of my books."

"Ican't leave my room until my bed is made, Chilla." Charles reminded her, scratching his neck absentmindedly.

"Ever since we have moved in here, I've been getting these really bad dreams and end up waking up in the middle of the night...several times. I'm finding it hard to tell the difference between the two." Olivia said, walking towards the group. Her hand was grasping onto her arm in support as she rethought about all of the nights and dreams that she had suffered though, "Last night, I opened my eyes and found myself bound by the wrists and ankles on my bed. A-...a man emerged from the darkness and held back a large blade to cut my stomach." Olivia turned her head down and closed her eyes tightly. She began to shiver a bit and tears start to drip onto the floor beneath her. "It was like...s-so real. The moment the blade is about to touch me, I woke up and found myself in the closet of my room. But then the closet door quickly slammed open and the man grabbed me by the throat and pressed a knife to the corner of my eye." She whipped her eyes quickly, "It just won't stop..."

"I think I may have chosen the wrong place to move in after college..." Charles said quietly, looking around at his roomates. He really liked these people but this house was friggin crazy

Olivia stopped and stopping whipping her tears away, "Gah...sorry for crying." she sniffled.

Charles went over and rested his arm around her shoulder. "It's alright Liv."

Kyle hugged her "want to sleep in my room Olivia? Then he wont be able to get you so easily..."

"Who the hell wouldn't?" Chilla said. "Christ, Liv, you should've said something sooner."

Kyle looked around at everyone "Maybe we should stick together at night... Safety in numbers and stuff."

"Thanks guys." Olivia told Kyle and Charles. She turned to Chilla, "Sorry...I know I should've. But like, I thought that they were just nightmares...realistic nightmares."

"Don't worry about it," Chilla said. "It's over with." She took off her glasses and rubbed her tired eyes, yawning. She didn't sleep all night, and it was taking its toll on her.

"Maybe...we could sleep in shifts?" Olivia offered, seeing Chilla was tired

"Olivia?" Max asked sounding as if she had an idea "Have you ever dreamed anything like this before you moved in? Like you knew you where gonna fail a test or something?'

"Umm...yea, doesn't everyone?" Olivia asked, looking oddly at Max. "I do get really bad Deja vu though....I'm used to little things like that."

"She's not going to be a medium or something Max" Kyle sighed "She's just scared..."

Olivia looked at Kyle, "Am I really that pathetic?"

"No" Kyle said firmly "It's just that it would be too much of a coincidence..."

"Coincidence?" Olivia asked.

"Well, you get the only house that has all these ghosts in and there's no way to escape... I mean, it's too much like the comics..." Kyle mumbled.

"Who are we to doubt at this point?" Chilla gestured to the house around them. "If Charles can get trapped in his room because his bed won't stay made--and by the way, that's a really pathetic reason to be trapped anywhere---then I can accept that Olivia can talk to the dead." She flopped down on a couch, grabbing an old piece of pizza and raising it to her mouth. Right before she could bite into it, though, it rotted and turned into ash, crumbling out of hands. She stared at the mess in her hands and threw it away in disgust, throwing herself onto the couch so that she was staring up at the ceiling, and voila---there the twins sat in chairs, staring upsidedownedly at her, bleeding.

kyle felt something run down his neck and looked up, shivering as he saw one of the twins was bleeding on him. "Comeon, we're doing our best" he said, moving out of the way of the drips.

"I never said that I talk to dead people!" Olivia told Chilla. She gasped and stepped back when she saw the twins. She backed up so quickly that she accidentally knocked into Kyle. "Sorry."

"Oh, you see them now?" Chilla asked. "They've been staring at me for the longest time. Couldn't get to sleep cause of 'em, and I guess they're back."

"I-I don't see ghosts like this....or I haven't." Olivia explained, starring in fear at the bleeding children. "I've just been seeing this man... and maybe a few moving objects here or there."

"That's wierd," Chilla said thoughtfully, staring up at the twins, who sullenly stared back. "They didn't follow me until now. They usually just stayed in my room. I wonder what's different?"

"Have you ever tried talking with them?" Olivia asked.

"I guess. I mean, I've yelled at them to leave, and I've asked what they wanted, but all they've done is...stare back," Chilla said. "Yeah, that's right, we're talking about you," she said to the two on the ceiling.

"Perhaps they simply cannot speak." Olivia assumed, "Maybe we could ask them to like....I don't know, tell us what they want without speaking? Like...write it or something?"

"Hmm. That might work," Chilla replied, stretching out to the table and groping until she found a pen. "Here," she said, throwing it up at the ceiling. It glided through the twins and dropped effortlessly down onto Chilla, who flinched and curled up as it hit her stomach.

Kyle looked up at the twins for a second, then down at the floor. "Can you draw in your own blood?" he asked, kneeling down and rubbing his hand in a pool of red life giving fluids "That would be more... ghosty."

"Ok wait a sec." Max said sudenly. This was te second time her ideas got lost in coversation. "Back to the whole psychic Olivia thing." She huffed "Ok I'm not sying that you could be a medeium. I'm just saying that if you get de ja vue a lot, dream things before they happen or even get the sinking feeling that your being watched in an empty room then you could be a little more sensitive to things outside our world. I really think that if we tried the ouija board then we might get something. If it's one name then I want to try it."

"Why don't we just ask them normally? I mean, Kyle might be onto something here. Maybe if Liv asks, they'll do something." Chilla twirled the pen between her fingers and watched the twins.

Olivia sighed, "Why do I not feel safe about this?" she asked herself. "OK....let's try this board thing."

kyle clutched his own board, he liked that one, atleast it was for skating. "Ok, lets do this then." he said outloud, he sounded confident but really he was terrified.

Charles snapped out of it, he was staring at a face that appeared in the couch. He heard the bit about the Ouija Board and he swallowed hard. He really wasn't looking forward to that, but he shrugged. "I guess I'm in...I'd really rather find another way, but I guess we don't have any choice."

"Ok" Max grabbed the Ouija board and placed it in the center of the dining tabel "I think this will be the first time we've all sat at it together." She said with amusement. "OK you sit there, you there, I'll sit here and you sit there and there." She sat down "OooOo we need candels." She said but all of a sudden every candel in teh loft lit at once and the lights dimmed. "... cool... I need a soda?" She tried but no soda appeared by her side. "Damn. Ok sit sit sit." She motioned to her friends.

Charles' cheeks flushed red when she told him that he would have the seat next to her. He took it eagerly and looked at her. "What do we do now?"

"This is a bad idea..." Chilla grumbled, moving over to sit by Charles. She pushed her glasses back up her nose. "God, who's been greasing my glasses? They usually fit without a problem," she said irritably.

Charles looked at Chilla. "I agree....I think we all do. But there isn't any other choice, is there?"

"OK." Max said "First things first." Max' tone was extremely sereious "Yes this is a bad idea but teh only option we have at the moment. There is a posibility that we could let other entities threw so we all need to concentrate on the victims. If we keep our mind on the objective then we shouldn't open ourselves to anything that can come threw. Do you all understand?" She looked at the group with steeley determination

Charles nodded. "Stay focused on the victims, got it."

Kyle nodded, sitting on his board as he joined the circle. "We could take anything that came threw here anyway."

"Yeah." Max said sarcasticaly "Sure."

"Okay, but like. Which victim? Are we doing all of them at once, or focusing on Kyle's giggly girl, or my twins, or Charles' sheet tosser, or what? How does this work?" Chilla asked. "Do we need to hold hands or some shit?"

Kyle thought for a second, he didn't want to loose giggle girl just yet. "I think we should get rid of Charles' sheet ghost, then he'd be able to leave his bdroom in the morning."

Olivia poked Kyle hard in the side, "You pervert! I think we should get rid of yours first."

Kyle sighed gently as he rolled along on his board from the poke "Mine doesn't keep me stuck in my room and she doesn't do what you lot think. If she did do you think I'd invite you to sleep in my room?"

"Perhaps I'll have to stay with you tonight after all." Olivia replied as an excuse to sleep in his room.

Kyle nodded and smiled, even though he was the cool one he couldn't pick out any other meaning from those words "See you tonight."

Olivia smirked, "Soo...how do we begin this then?"

"Each of us places two fingers on the board and say "Ouiaa Board, Ouija Board is there a spirit on this board?" then we wait for an answer." Max said "Let me do the talking after that I guess."

Olivia did as Max said and placed two fingers on the pointer. She flinched a bit as the scabs on her back were pulled as she reached forwards.

Charles placed two fingers on the pointer nervously. "I say we get rid of Chilla's twins first. They're just plain creepy. I don't care about my bed tosser that much...if I wasn't so OCD I wouldn't have any problemw ith it. It's just that I've gotta have my bed made before leaving my room. Everyone has their own thing and that's like mine. But if we get rid of the giggle girl, than nothing'll be there to stop Kyle from bringing girls over."

"Oh. Yes. Please. Let's be rid of those damn twins," Chilla agreed wholeheartedly. She inched her fingers forward onto the pointer with great reluctance, saying, "This is so retarded. We're not in junior high anymore."

"This is going to take a while...isn't it?" Olivia asked, "Cause I like, have plans for tonight."

"And your planning on leavintg when we're sealed in?" Max asked. "We're here till it's finished and we get rid of whoever we can." She placed her fingers on the board "Ready? Ouija Board, Ouija Board is there a spirit on this bord?" Immediatly the pointer flew to teh "Yes" scrawled into the wood. It zoomed back anf forth over teh "Yes" like it was vibrating "Ok that's creepy. I guess we have their attention."

Charles swallowed hard, just how many ghosts were actually here?

"More than thrity that's-" The pointer moved over the numbers and pointed to teh 4 and then teh 3. "-for sure." Max said.

"What?!" Chilla asked, reaching her arm over as the pointer moved. "But you said there were only thirty! The interwebs said there were only thirty! Plust the killer, that is."

Kyle almost withdrew his fingers from the board when it said there were 43 ghosts "Ohhh... please dont say our roommate is still haunting this place?" he said, half to the board.

The pointer on teh board sudenly pointed to "Yes"

"Shelly..." Max said quietly then shrugged it off. She took a deep breath and asked "We think that learning your names can help us to set you all free from thsi space. Is that true?"

The arrow jerked suddenly to "Yes" and vibrated madly

Chrales swallowed hard and looked to Max. There had to be a faster way. This was starting to freak him out

Kyle sighed and looked up at the ceiling "Hey Shelly... wait. Are you the one haunting my room?"

the pointer jerked to "No"

"Oh thank god" Kyle said, looking relieved "Where are you then?"

Olivia just starred at the pointer flicker all around the board. This wasn't too scary compared to the crap she had gone through before.

To answer Kyle's question the pointer jerked to the center of the board and down which meant the answer wasn;t worth telling.

"Shelly" Max said "We need the names of the unknown victms. Can you help us?"

THe pointer jerked to teh "yes"

Kyle smiled "Thanks Shelly, you're really helpful. First of all, which ghost should we do?"

"Kyle, shut up." Max said "There going in the order we get the names. No one needs to hold presidence over the rest."

"Talking to our dead room mate....creepy." Olivia uttered to herself.

"Sorry" Kyle mumbled "I just got excited... haven't talked to Shelly in a long time."

Max ignored Kyle "Shelly, can you get all the victims to tell us their names?"

The pointer jerked over the Yes again. the candles in the room flickered and a strong breeze began to blow around the group

"Gah!" Olivia shouted, grabbing her head, "My hair!"

Kyle looked around with a not very impressed look on hsi face "Comeon, the central heating bust one day at work and it was worse than this."

"Shut up, Kyle," Chilla spat, irritated and a little spooked.

Suddenly the pointer jerked towards Olivia. It slid off the board and almost off the table. Her eyes were wide and alert, but her pupils looked dead. Olivia's head twitched a bit to the side as if she were fighting something inside. "Christopher Navarro....Tyler Gonnering..." she said in a low tone of voice. Then she continued with a much higher tone, "Crystal Williams, Julia Smith, Rachael Starling..." Her lower eyelid twitched up and down.

"Oh shit." Max said "Pen and paper, pen and paper." She jumped up to try and find some, reciting the names over and over again.

Kyle looked around frantically, picking up a piece of paper that was blown past and laying it gainst his board. He dipped his finger into some blood that was pouring from the wall and started putting down the names.

Olivia started to dig her nails into the wood of the table. "Dana Startch, Roxanne Fisher..." her head twitched again violently, "Dianna Montgomery, Clover Pleir..." She grunted a bit, as if fighting against what had taken her body over.

Max rolled her eyes at Kyle and sat down, she began writing down the names.

Is it just me or am I getting some bad looks lately... maybe I should quit being happy or something. Kyle thought, stopping his writting when he saw that the blood faded after a while.

"Jody Hutchens...Tyler Randolph..." Olivia's body spasmed, "Catherine Letterman..."

"Ummmm...." Charles said quietly, staring at Olivia

"Shh," Chilla hissed at Charles. She glanced at Olivia and then up meaningfully before returning her gaze to Charles.

"Jenny Goewire, Brittni Depies, Lesli West..." Olivia uttered. Her body sat straight up in her seat, her her eyes were half open and dead looking, "Rose Freeman,....Kate Voltch."
Max jotted down teh names as fast as she could

"Margarat Simmons, Ashley Thomson, Erin Kelly, Matt Rishton.." Olivia went on. Her lips were starting to turn blue.

Kyle looked worried when he saw her lips changing colourm placing a hand against her forhead to try and take her temperature. Is she getting enough oxygen? he thought to himself.

Olivia's skin would be very cold to the touch. She was getting enough oxygen, but as the spirit possesed her, it made her entire body start to get cold. "Elizabeth Jarrets, Cynthia Goldman....Jody Zeirhut...Jordan West, Garret Neumann, Ashley Osheski."

Charles took off his overshirt and placed it on Olivia's shoulders. The act was a little difficult to pull off without letting go of the pointer, but he managed.

"Stop it." Max hissed "Sit, concentrate." he didn;t want to loose this moment. One name lost and the whole thing would get fucked up.

"I'D RATHER OLIVIA DIDN'T DIE!" Kyle snapped suddenly, still with his hand on the pointer like his own life depended on it.

"Margarete Frost, Amanda Welsh, Jesse Stangey, Kelly Wheeler...." Olivia went on. One could see her breath in the air now.

"She's not gonna die." Max said still writing "It'll be ok."

"Josh Holtz, Mandie Lousier, Rachael Tang.....Cynthia Mitchel." Olivia uttered.

Kyle winced, some skin coming away from his hand when he removed it from Olivia's forehead. "dammit" he said, checking his palm "She's freezing..."

"Josie Neether, Joy Adams, Rory Suthers, Shelly Simmons..." Olivia continued.

"Merde," Chilla breathed, "how many people died in this damn place?"

"Mary and Cindy Stevenson..." Olivia finished. Her poster slumped forwards a bit and her eyes rolled into the back of her head. Her body started to sway a bit before she fell from her seat, onto the floor.

"Ten... twenty-five... thirty-four... fourty three!" Max proclaimed "We got em all! Thanks Shelly. Ouija board Ouija Board we close the spirit world to this board." She shot up from her seat nd to her work station "Ok I'm downloading the exorsizm now. Someone get her to the couch." She was typing on her computer while she was standing, inching closer to the printer trying to keep her hands on teh keyboard. Oh shit... Chilla can you read latin?"

"Not enough to hold traditional Catholic Mass, but yeah, I know a little," Chilla said, taking her hand from the pointer. "Kyle, could you..?" She looked at Olivia and then at him. She wanted to help, but Max sounded like she had something really important. She walked over and leaned over Max's shoulder.

"You think you can manage?" Max asked Chilla "If you can finish it I can read off the names. It shoudl work."

"It's worth a try," Chilla shrugged, and began to read. "EGO precor phasmatis illae domus ut recedo ex is universitas. EGO patefacio a prodigium ut barathrum. Obduco per quod exsisto purgo of vestri ties ut terra. genitus quod perturbo nos haud magis. Illae domus, Illae domus," She chanted, "Illa phasmatis recedo.." she prodded Max, letting her know to start saying the names.

Olivia began to stir. Her cheeks got their rosey color back. She sat up slowly and looked around her surroundings. Why the hell was she on the floor?

Max Began reciting the names in a loud and clear voice. "Christopher Navarro, Tyler Gonnering, Crystal Williams, Julia Smith, Rachael Starling," A sudden wind began to blow, growing forcdeful, Max raised her voice. "Dana Startch, Roxanne Fisher, Dianna Montgomery, Clover Pleir, Mitch Hutchens, Tyler Randolph!"

Olivia shiverred a bit as her body warmed. Her attention went to Max. Slowly, she stood up. Why am I so exhausted? Did something fun happen?
Max continued to shout teh names over the growing force of teh wind. "Catherine Letterman, Jenny Goewire, Brittni Depies, Lesli West, Rose Freeman, Kate Voltch, Margarat Simmons, Ashley Thomson, Erin Kelly, Matt Rishton, Elizabeth Jarrets!"

The wind began to center around Olivia. Sudenly it began to blow harder. The lamps fell over, the pizza boxes scattered and Olivia was slowly behing lifted off the ground.

"Shit shit shit!" Olivia cussed as she was lifted. "Max...knock it off!"

Max continued, if she stopped they would be fucked. "Cynthia Goldman, Jody Zeirhut, Jordan West, Garret Neumann, Ashley Osheski, Margarete Frost, Amanda Welsh, Jesse Stangey, Kelly Wheeler, Josh Holtz, Mandie Lousier, Rachael Tang."

The wind lifted Olivia higher, it manipulated her to fly directly towards Charles.

Chrales turned just in time to see Olivia fly through the air directly at him, He grabbed her ankles and pulled her down tot he floor, pinning her beneath him he smiled. "I've got you."

kyle almost laughed when Chilla asked if he could read latin, he knew two words and they could only get him slapped. He turned around at the sound of the commotion and saw Charles dragging a floating Olivia to the floor. Cursing silently so not to disrupt Max he dashed to Olivia's side and knelt down beside her, gently pinning her back with a strong arm. "It'll be ok" he whispered to Olivia "It's gonna be over soon."

"What did I do?!" Olivia asked the two boys, "Why the hell am I floating?!"

Kyle smiled nervously "Well... you sort of got possesed or something."

"What?!" Olivia asked, "What did I do?"

"You gave us the names" Kyle explained, still smiling in a nervous way "We'll be able to get rid of them soon."

"What the hell makes me so damn special?!" Olivia shouted as she her body was still being pulled up. "Max would orgasm if this happened to her!"
Max shot Olivia an angry look but continued to recite teh names. "Cynthia Mitchel, Jody Falkner, Josie Neether, Joy Adams, Rory Suthers, Shelly Simmons, Mary and Cindy Stevenson... That's it..." She said "That's all the names!"

The wind died down completely and teh force manhandeling Olivia vanished. The ppers and pizza boxes floating in the air dropped sudenly to the floor.

Olivia hit hte ground with a loud 'thud'. "Damn it!" she grunted. "Settle down there boys.." said to Charles and Kyle who were still on top of her.

Charles grinned and pushed Kyle off of her as he got to his feet. He bent down and helped Olivia up to her feet. "I told you I got you, I don't see why he came over too." He winked to her

Kyle punched Charles arm but playfully "What, you think Im leaving you all to her?" He shook his head slightly, even though Olivia had said it as a joke he still couldn't get the idea of a spiritgasm out of his head.

"Perhaps you boys could take turns watching over me tonight." Olivia smiled as she wrapped her arms around both Charles and Kyle's arms.

Kyle smiled "Love to, I'll go first and Charles can go afterwards."

"I've got a better idea. I'll go first. I caught her first." Charles said with a grin.

"...Illa phasmatis recedo, Illa phasmatis recedo," Chilla finished, throwing a dark glance at Kyle and Charles. "Voila. C'est finit. That should work fine." She put her hands on her hips, peering at the boys with disdain. "Merde, what time is it?" She checked her pocketwatch, but it had stopped. "Damn, must've forgotten to wind it."

Kyle pretended not to notice the glance from Chilla "Fine, go first if you want. It's just I noticed how it gets more.... ghouly around midnight."

Charles shrugged. "Well you know what, Kyle? I think we're gonna have nice and easy nights from now on."

"Here's hoping," Chilla said, sighing. She glanced around cautiously, then retreated to her room to get her notebook.

Charles nodded and looked to Olivia. "Well, Liv, I'll go and grab some stuff for me to do while you're sleeping. I've got some little tidbits to work on."

Max ran her hands threw her hair and sighed "We should know in the next couple of days if it worked or not. I was kind of expecting a big bright light or a wormhole or something... Fuck it... I say we party!"

"I'd have just thought it was gonna be a little squawk and everything will just fall off the walls." Kyle admitted "Though a party would be great." He smiled and turned round, but his smile slid of his face like the blood off Max's walls "Someone else get the things from the fridge."

Olivia grinned at Charles, "Alright, that's fine." She walked over to the door outside. After placing a hand on the handle, she stopped, "You think we can get out now?"

Charles walked up to Olivia as she placed a hand on the door. "Only one way to find out. Give it a turn, if something happens, I'll yank you away." He smiled reassuringly, he didn't think that anything would happen

Olivia quickly turned on the handle and pulled, hoping for the best.

The door did not open as Olivia tried it but she was swept back by an unseen force and pinned against the opposite wall.

"FOR THE LOVE OF!" Kyle shouted, going over to Olivia's side. He tried to prise her off the wall. He shoved the lip of his board behind her with difficulty and tried to use it to lever her off the walls.

"Ack...jeez!" Olivia grunted as the side of the skateboard dug into her side, "I'm not a damn car door!"

Kyle stopped and looked embarresed "Sorry" he muttered.

Olivia shook her head, "It's alright....just get me down!" she struggled to move.

Chrales went over and grabbed one of her arms, planting a foot on the wall he pulled. "Kyle, get the other arm."

"This is gonna hurt...isn't it?" Olivia pouted.

"Good God, Olivia, can't you keep your head outta the paranormal's ass for three seconds?" Chilla rushed over and set her hands on her hips, examining her predicament with an air of concern.

"Oh yes....I just love being a target." Olivia said sarcastically. "It's not like I mean to!!"

"Jeez Chilla, cut her some slack. Like you wanted the bleeding twins?" Charles asked her as he tugged on Olivia's arm

Kyle gripped her empty arm and hauled with the others, making sure he didn't dig his nails in. After several minutes of fruitless struggling Kyle let go and cursed. He glanced up at Olivia, not able to meet her eye for the moment and muttered "Illa phasmatis recedo?"

A force eminated from around Olivia and knicked Charles and Kyle away from her about fifteen feet into the other wall.

"The killer." Max said quietly then yelled "WE FREED THE VICTMS BUT FORGOT THE KILLER!" She cursed herself for being stupid and scrambeled to find the exorcizm in the mass of papers that had been blown around the room "Someone help me!"

While pinning her against the wall the force began to shred at Olivia's clothes. It pushed her off the wall and pinned her to the celing.

Kyle let out a swearword that turned the air blue for a second, watching Olivia slowly being pushed up the wall from the opposite one. He couldn't help himself, not because she was loosing clothes but because of the utter horror on her face. Whenever a piece of paper fluttered by him he snapped at it, trying to grab one that would help Max.

"Ahh!!" Olivia screamed. There was a horrified look on her face as she was being forced up onto the ceiling. She tried her hardest to wrap her arms around her body for shelter and comfort, but the force holding her was too strong.

"Oh my god. Oh My GOD!" Chilla yelled. "OLIVIA!" She grabbed as much paper as she could, trying to help Max. "Jesus, how fucking retarded can we get?"

Charles picked himself up and started grabbing at the flying papers

Kyle snatched at the papers madly, his hands moving almost as fast as the papers were blowing. Sometimes he went as far as to swipe them out of the air with his foot, pinning them down in an attempt to clear the room.

Olivia's heart was pounding. The murderer had never been this forceful at her.

Charles was past being scared now. He grabbed the papers as fast as he could, reading them over ever so slighlty, looking for keywords. How did this miss the killer!? Olivia's life hangs in the balance because tey forgot the killer?!?!
Max dove to the ground scrambeling at papery, trying to find the latin text that had worked only moments before. How coudl she be so daft?

The force rid Olivia's torso of clothing and spread her arms to ether side of her, pinning her down so she couldn;t hide herself from her tormenter. It began to shred the clothes upon teh lowerhalf of her body

"AHHH!!!" Olivia screamed, "Someone help me! Please!" she cried out in horror.

Kyle cursed, looking up at Olivia and then around at the room. "dammit" he said, grabbing his board. He ran fast at a wall and a wardrobe. He shoved the wardrobe over, took several steps back and dashed forward. He jumped, landing on the skate board and up the lopsided wardrobe. He jumped off the end and skated up the wall. He got as high as he could and leapt again, somehow managing to seize Olivia around the waist. "GIVE HER BACK!" he yelled, dangling in mid-air from Olivia.

A strong force seemed to arise and strike Kyle hard in the gut, sending him flying backwards.

Kyle grunted, squirming for a few seconds as the wind was knocked out of him. Gasping for air he used the wall to get up "You think you're tough you stupid specter? I've had WAY worse than this. BRING IT!"

"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T TAUNT THE FUCKING HOMICIDAL PHANTOM HOLDING US HOSTAGE!" Chilla screamed at Kyle. She ran to the computer to see if she could read off the exorcism again, but the screen was fuzzy.

"If I can distract him for long enough" Kyle grunted, smashing a teapot that had flown at him out of the air "Then he might let you guys get on with the exocism"

"Hurry the fuck up!!!" Olivia screamed with all her might from the ceiling. Her pony had broken out and her blonde hair hung downward.
The force had flipped Olivia over on the celing, now the soft flesh of her back and rear was exposed to her scurring friends. Red whelps began to form on her back and legs as if she'd been struck by a switch.
Max was on her knees on the floor. Static elecriicity seemed to course threw the room and caused papers to stick to her clothes."I GOT IT!" she proclaimed holding the paper aloft in one hand.

Hearing Max's proclimation the force dropped Olivia to the floor, none too gently. It barreled over Max, rolling the girl against the floor and walls in a fray of papers and various items that had been knocked to the floor. Broken glass littered the floor in the kitchen and it forced her in that direction.
Dizzy and disopriented Max grabed for the leg of chairs, coffee tables and friends to stop teh madening beating. She felt her back connect with something hard and metan and grasped for it. It was a step from the spiral staircase in the center of the room. "HELP ME!" She screamed, the paper still clutched in her hand. "HELP ME!!" She had no idea she could make such a helpless sound.
The force shook Max's form wildly trying to dislodge her hands from the stair. She looked like a rag doll being shaken by a pit bull.

Charles' face draine dof blood as he saw Max being thrown around like a ragdoll. He clentched his fists and bolted across the room as soon as he got close to her though, his hair surged with static electricity, quickly standing up on end. He gritted his teeth and reached for her.

Olivia was shaking on the floor and bleeding in several places all over her back. She struggled to cover herself. Oloiva tried to get up and help Max, but she couldn't. Her body just didn't seem to want to get up.

"Jesus!" Chilla ran to Max, completely oblivious of all reprocussions. This was going to hell in a handbasket real fast.

Kyle swore and grabbed for Olivia. He held her infront of him, wrapping himself around in an attempt to stop her from being assaulted by the fierce wind. His other arm reached out for Max, snatching at the papers as they whistled around him.

Olivia grabbed tightly to Kyle. She didn't care that she was nude, she clung tightly to him for her life.

This entire time, even from the beginning, when the spirits had first started to show up, Chilla couldn't get one thought from her mind: this would make a great movie. A pan here, a Dutch angle there, and she had herself a blockbuster.

"TAKE IT!!!!" Max screamed. The paper was clutched in her hand, only Chilla could read it but Max worried what would happen once she took it. She had an idea if only it would stop shaking her.

Chilla reached desperately, swiping and clawing at the papers in Max's hand before she finally clamped onto them, tearing them out of her hands. She clutched them in her hands shakily. "Uh--mortem est vitae---vitae--" She stuttered, reading the words out loud as best she could with her hands shaking so badly.
Immediatly upon hearing Chilla recite the words the Force released max and rounded on Chilla. If slammed her into the wall and began to pull her hair and force her upward on the wall.

Max gasped for breath and saw what was happening to Chilla... She had an idea

"Haakghg!" Chilla choked, the wind knocked out of her. The feeling of her hair being pulled was wierd, especially since it was so short to begin with. She wanted to swear and kick, but the force on her body was too great. Nevertheless, she carried on. "EGO----precor phasmatis illae----illae----"
"KYLE!" Max yelled. "KANSAS SHUFFEL!!" She knew Kyle had played sports, hopefuly he would know what a Kansas Shuffel was.

Kyle thought fast, letting go of the naked Olivia and dashing at Chilla. He snatched at the papers in her hands, pretending to steal them from her while actually grabbing several other sheets out of the air instead. Dashing away towards Max he cried "I'VE GOT THEM!", all the while praying that this worked.

"READ DAMNIT!" Max shouted. She hoped he would get the idea to make up words as he went along. She werenched herself up and grabbed the railing of teh staircase to brace herself.

The Force released Chilla and went for Kyle. UIt lifted him into teh air and threw him into teh kitchen where the broken glass on teh floor waited to cution his fall.

Chilla fell with a thump on the floor, her glasses almost knocked off her face. She crawled into a corner behind the TV, muttering in latin and reading the papers obsessively in a low voice. She didn't know what the others were doing, but this much she COULD do.

Olivia was hurt and bleeding all over. She crawled to the kitchen table and went under it. Grabbing onto the tablecloth, the pulled it off and wrapped it around her cut body.

Kyle yelped and stood on his skate board, landing on it so he rolled along and the glass missed his feet. He huddled around the papers and started to make up the words "ummmm.. nosferatu caneos, omasferu nakaru"

Max began to look at a piece of paper and do the same thing "Demitri, espiritu scanti untiemybowtie whostole myhonda." She looked at Charles and motioned him to do teh same.

The forve heard Max's voice speaking teh words and left Kyle in teh glass he rounded on her next and slammed her against teh railing of the stairs

Kyle tried his best to get out of the middle of the glass, forever chanting "calastrons metbanis, taquilas!"

Olivia grabs onto the shower curtain that she had laid ontop of the table earlier and wrapped it around herself. She was ripped naked and was almost raped.

Chilla's chanting was finally drawing to a close as chaos reigned around her and papers slipped out of her hand. She stood and pointed a finger at the spirit, shouting at the top of her voice, "ILLA PHASMATIS RECEDO! ILLA PHASMATIS RECEDO!" She suddenly realized it wouldn't work without invoking the spirit's name, so she yelled, "SOMEBODY SAY THIS MOTHERFUCKER'S NAME NOW!"
Max was struggeling to her feet when she heard Chilla's order. At the top of her lungs she screamed "AURTHOR JAMES SPRINGFIELD!!!"

There was something like an explsion of in reverse. From the outside in the paper dropped, the glass stopped vibrating and the wind didn't blow. It was retreating into Max's bedroom, where the killer last had been.

Olivia latched onto the floor as the wind retreated. She slowly let go once everything seemed to be save. While still wrapped in a shower curtain, she managed to get to her feet. "Fuck..." she said blankly.

Kyle blinked, his skateboard rolled a little by itself. He looked down and found himself beside Olivia. He got off the skateboard rather shakily and hugged her gently, half keeping himself up as well as her.

Chilla lowered her arm, panting from the adrenaline rush. Her glasses had been knocked askew, and she set them right on her nose with her middle finger. She strode over to the front door and tried the knob, swinging it open. She turned to the others. "I don't know about you guys, but by the end of tonight, whatever should happen between now and then, I plan on getting shitfaced, piss-drunk."

Olivia moved away from Kyle's arms and over to the coffee table that had two piles of clothes that Olivia hadn't put away just yet from folding. "Maybe....just maybe...for a little while, I can have some clothes on."

Max didn't reply, with all her strength she ran up the staircase and to her room. She swung the door open to reveal a horrifying sight. She dropped to her knees. "NOO!!" The walls of her room where no longer black or dripping with blood but pink with a teady bear border. She spun around to the railing and yelled down "We have to find an all night hardware store! I can't sleep in this!"

Olivia glanced up the stars, she managed to see the corner of her room from there. "Don't like pink?" she asked in a cocky tone, knowing hte answer.

Kyle slumped over onto the floor, he was shivering slightly and had a vacant expression "That..." he said after some heavy breathing "Was cool.. but im never doing it again."

Chilla gazed up at Max in amazement and started laughing. "You are a peice of fuckin' work, M," She laughed, rubbing her eyes.

"Well the window was open." Max said changing the subject as she decended the stairs "Most accounts of spectral beings being released report that the being exited the dwelling threw a window or door. Since the walls of my room where black, I never painted them and now they are pink he must have put up roots in my room. I'd say he's gone for good."

Charles walked around the warzone of a living room and opened the fridge. He was relived to find that it was frozen girl free. He searched through the fridge, tossing things out seemingly at random. "I think he took all the booze with him! I just put like 12 bottles of vodka in here yesterday!!!"

"Charlie, you fucking alcoholic." Chilla leaned her head against the doorframe, still laughing, but a great deal of energy drained from her. "Hey Olivia, are you still bleeding?" She asked, trying to sedate hiccups of giggling from the rediculousness of the entire situation.

"Hey! I take offense to that Chilla!" Charles said, turning and looking at her with a scowl on his face. "I buy that once a week. Jeez. I get my paycheck and I go and I get enough booze for the week. And it's all gone! I just bought them yesterday!!!"

Olivia showed her open back. The cuts werent bleeding anymore, but left deep cuts.

"Yeah, alright," Chilla relented. "Don't worry about it, I'll get more--and the good stuff this time," she winked at him. Turning to Olivia, she said, "We should still get you to a hospital to get those stitched up, don't you think?"

"Not a bad idea..." Olivia admitted, "Just gotta think of an excuse as to how this happened."

"Ya slipped on a banana peel and fell through a window," Chilla rationalized. "Kyle does it all the time."

Charles chuckled and shook his head. "Among other things...Chilla, I refuse to let you pay for the vodka. You can pick it out if you'd like, but I still have money left from my paycheck, so no paying. Ok?"

"A'ight," Chilla subsided, slipping down into a sitting position in the doorway and very quickly falling asleep. "You'll find no argument from me there," she mumbled.

Kyle looked up, his eyes glazed over slightly so it gave him the look of someone staring at something very small a long way away "Who's been falling threw my windows?" He looked around and saw Olivia's back, getting up slowly and gripping onto everything around him tightly "Comeon Oliv, we need to get you to the hospital."

2007-06-27 [Pnelma Tirian]: You and your cuts! Why aren't you wearing shoes, or slippers, or socks? Plus you'd instinctively avoid the glass once you painfully found out it was there, so the glass wouldn't dig into your feet that much--you wouldn't push them into the glass, would you?

2007-06-27 [Evolution X]: It's the pieces of broken mirror that attacked Olivia, since some embedded itself in her some would be laying behind her so Kyle would have to walk over it to get to her.

2007-06-27 [Pnelma Tirian]: Yes, I accept that there is glass on the floor--just not that Kyle would do nothing but wince as he ground his feet into glass. He'd instinctively pull back from the glass as he stepped on it as his mind registers, oh, hey, pain. Being a stuntman/daredevil/whatever might compell him to continue to walk on broken glass(god knows why), but he'd do a lot more than wince, I think.

2007-06-27 [Evolution X]: Fine... I'll edit again... that is seriously how I act when stepping on broken glass though

2007-06-27 [Pnelma Tirian]: yeah, but you wince at everything. =P

2007-06-27 [Evolution X]: Fine.... *pouts*

2007-06-27 [Pnelma Tirian]: you do, though! Whether a papercut or a severed limb, ya just wince!

2007-06-27 [Evolution X]: *laughs* Ok, I admit... so yeah, I'll do more screaming and stuff.

2007-06-27 [Pnelma Tirian]: YAY

2007-06-28 [Evolution X]: I know... V_V

2007-06-29 [Chel.]: oh and pnel, the cuts werent large at all, there were just a lot spread throughout her back.
